A trip for people new to the club to experience what we do.

There will be kayaking, rock climbing, hiking and rogaining.

It will be at Cathedral Ranges State Park, 120km north east of Melbourne.

The trip cost is $95.

It is strictly limited to 60 'first timers' and 20 'leaders'.

Signups ARE OPEN, and will only be via a paper "Intro Trip" sheet in the clubrooms. Once you have paid are on this list, you will be added by me onto the trip list below.

Logistics:
Friday 22 March: drive up in pre arranged car groups in the afternoon/evening, stopping along the way to buy dinner.

Saturday 23 March: split into 4 groups, to rotate through the acivities. There will be a morning and afternoon session on Saturday and a morning session on Sunday. This will enable you to try 3 out of the 4 sports on offer. All specialist gear for these activities will be provided, for example rock climbing helmets and harnesses, kayaks, maps and compasses. Elthough everyone will need to bring a smal daypack to carry wet weather gear, water and snacks.

Sunday 24 March: wake up to bacon and eggs before heading off to your last activity session. Pack up the camp around lunchtime and then make your way home, possibly stopping for dinner if you have pfaffed around for long enough.

Meals provided: 
Saturday breakfast and dinner.
Sunday breakfast.
Special Dietary Requirements: we can cater for vegetarians, however I am not going to risk contamination for those with any other SDRs. If this aplies to you, speak to me individually and I will refund you the food component of the trip.

Meals to bring:
money for dinner on Friday night.
Saturday and Sunday Lunch.
Snacks.
Beverages.
