Between Elphinstone and Chewton

8 am Registration opens (to collect maps)

9:45 am Compulsory Briefing

10 am Start

6 pm Finish

LOCATION

Just off the Pyrenees Highway between Elphinstone and Castlemaine and in the Fryerstown Ranges about 110 km from Melbourne CBD. Subject to permit approval.

THE COURSE

Over Summer the VRA completed most of the permanent course which replaces the Mt Disappointment permanent course that was burnt in 2009 Black Saturday bush fires. The old course grew back too thick for Rogaining.

As they did not get a setter and organiser for the planned longer May the VRA will run an 8hr Rogaine using the already set Permanent course. This unveiling event will be a great way to get everyone aware it is there to take your friends on a training event any time.
