After a multi-year hiatus, Victorian intervarsity climbing competitions were revived in 2011. In 2013, the Victorian Intervarsity Climbing Competition will be back with a vengeance. Can the University of Melbourne defend its title?

The intervarsity climbing competition is a top roping competition where university clubs go head to head.  Competitors will have two hours to complete 10 problems.  Your score is the grade of the climb i.e. if you climb a 10 you get ten points. If you climb a climb on your first attempt (a 'flash') you will get a bonus point.  This competition is being run at Bayside Rock and as such the climbs are graded 1 to 10, where 1 is the easiest and 10 is the hardest.

For the university score; Once all competitors are finished, the scores from the top climbers of each club, will be added together and the university club with the highest score will receive the prestigious trophy.

Where will the competition be held?
