This is a bush bicycle race organised by the Victorian Rogaining Association. We compete in teams of 2 to 4 people. The organisers place checkpoints on a course in the bush, then give each team a map showing where they are, and start the clock. The winner is whoever rides to the most checkpoints in the next 5 hours.
Details here. The course will include the town of Beechworth. Note that the trip meeting is a fortnight before the rogaine. If you ask to come after the meeting, MUMC might not have a place for you.
The end of rogaining season party will be held at Bridge Road Brewery the night before.
