Indoor climbing night - Hardrock CBD - all welcome

Requirements: This is a show up and climb affair.

There will be no trip meeting - but feel free to ask around the climbing gear store.

Hi climbers old and new,

There will be a MUMC indoor climbing night at Hardrock CBD this Thursday from about 6 pm onwards. This is for old climbers, new climbers, non-climbers - all welcome!

This will be a good chance to:
- climb :-)
- meet other new climbers
- climb :-)
- try indoor climbing if you're new
- climb :-)
- train for the Intervarsity Climbing Competition which is coming up in a bit over a week (have you registered yet???)
- climb!!! :-D
(side note: ladies may be interested in Roisin's climbing technique session which is running at Bayside climbing gym on the same evening). 

How this is going to work:
It's only going to work if you show up and show some initiative. :-) 
Climbing meet-ups are arranged by chatting to other people at the Tuesday club meeting and pub and forming pairs or small groups. See who else is hiring gear at the clubrooms and chat them up, or talk to people at the pub. 
We'll be at Hardrock from about 6-6.30 pm on Thursday, and will attempt to put up a "MUMC climbing" sign. Find the sign, chat to whoever is there, pair up, climb.

Cost: $18/$16 for students + any gear hire

Gear: harness, climbing shoes, locking biner, chalk bag.
All this can be hired at Hardrock or from the MUMC climbing gear store on Tuesday only (cheaper but no chalk bags). 

If you haven't climbed at Hardrock before, you will need to complete an induction session. This can be arranged upon arrival but may involve a bit of waiting - so allow some extra time for that.
