Requirements: General daywalk requirements wet weather/warm clothes if the weather turns and food.

This is the first of three daywalks on the first Saturday of September, October and November. The walks are geared towards moderate fitness levels and will be fairly relaxed. Advanced, highly fit walkers may find the pace a bit leisurely but if that's what you are after please join us!

The walk is at the renowned Werribee Gorge State Park about 60-80 mins drive from Melbourne. It's from the Lonely Planet "Bushwalking in Australia" book and is listed with the following details.

* 3.5-4 hrs, 10km
* Circuit Walk

* Medium Difficulty

"Variety is the keynote of this very scenic walk, with sections of eucalyptus woodland, view of farm paddocks and a long rock hop through the sheer-walled Werribee Gorge"

Full details will be decided at the trip meeting. The plans are to leave Melbourne at 11am to allow for enough time to vote.
