It's the last tree planting weekend for the Regent Honeyeater Project this season. The project has been working to restore Box Ironbark native habitat in the Lurg Hills near Benalla and relies on volunteer input.

The weekend involves planting trees with other volunteers, accommodation, 3-course dinner on Saturday followed by abushdance and a BBQ lunch on Sunday.

We'll be sleeping in the Scout Hall in Benalla (mattresses are provided, but bring a sleeping bag & pillow), or you can bring a tent and camp outside.

Bring: water bottle, lunch for Saturday, breakfast for Sunday, clothes to get dirty in, and bushdancing shoes.

For more info check the project website http://regenthoneyeater.org.au/index.php,

To sign up for this trip, please sign up below AND email Krissie at conservationATmumcDOTorgDOTau as well as goldengumleafATgmailDOTcom (use both email addresses please!).
