Apologies for the late notice!
To sign up for this trip, please email me at conservationATmumcDOTorgDOTau - please do this ASAP as the organisers need to know the numbers for catering purposes.

Ray at the Regent Honeyeater Project is running another tree planting weekend Oct 5-6. The project has been working to restore Box Ironbark native habitat in the Lurg Hills near Benalla and relies on volunteer input. This is THE last planting weekend for this year.

The weekend involves planting trees with other volunteers, accommodation, 3-course dinner on Saturday followed by a bushdance and a BBQ lunch on Sunday.

Accommodation is provided in the Scout Hall in Benalla (mattresses are provided, but bring a sleeping bag & pillow), or you can bring a tent and camp outside.

Bring: water bottle, lunch for Saturday, breakfast for Sunday, clothes to get dirty in, and bushdancing shoes.

Again, to sign up you need to email me. At this point I am probably not able to go myself, so the trip will only go ahead if someone else can provide transportation, OR you can travel there by train on Friday.

cheers
Krissie
