With all my exams over after the second week Ill be running a climbing trip to  the grampians. The aim of the trip is to climb easy sort grades and teach people sport lead climbing on easy grades. There are not many easy sport climbs in the grampians so it might be a bit of a mission, but i think there is enough to make it worth while. If its too much of an effort then we can run through how to set up topropes and wish we climbed harder.

You do not need to already know how to lead climb, however it is not a beginners trip, you must have been climbing throughout the year and be competent with basic skills. As really easy sports grades don't exist, you should be able to climb around 16 17 indoors. There will be long approaches so you will also need to be fit prepared for a mission. The 5 star hotel has been all book out so we will have to settle for tents.

The plan is to leave Thursday night and spend 3 full day climbing before coming back on Sunday. However depending on interest this cold also be changed to leaving on Friday. More details will be planed based on the skill level on the people interested in coming and how many experience climbers attend. The trip will be keep small for practicality. Come and have a chat to me on Tuesday if you are keen.
