A rogaine is a race where teams hunt for flags placed in the bush. The teams start together, walk or run to as many flags as they can, and return before a set finishing time. Passing a flag scores points, and the team that finishes with the most points wins a chocolate bar.
These rogaines will be held at Whroo, on a flat course with little scrub. So it's a great chance to practice navigation. Details and instructions for entering are on the VRA website.
This rogaine is run by the Victorian Rogaining Association, but MUMC will hold a trip meeting a fortnight before to organise teams and transport. If you fail to attend, we might not be able to find you a place on a team.
