This is not a competitive rogaine. Instead, volunteers from the Victorian Rogaining Association will coach teams in navigating at night. This is useful beyond rogaining: skiers and alpinists must be able to navigate through fog, and being able to travel at night provides a safety margin for bushwalkers. If you are comfortable navigating during the day, you ought to go. Details from the VRA.
