Snowy Moutains Caving Trip - Australia Day long weekend

Long weekend trip to the Snowy Mountains caving at Yarrangobilly and Cooleman (permits pending) possibly a daywalk/float down one of the rivers.

Yarrangobilly has large well decorated caves often with large open sections connected by more sporty obstacles.

The caves at nearby Cooleman are smaller however the walk to the caves down the gorge is prettier.

Signups

While the trip meeting is the week of the trip to allow for finalisation of national park permits signups will close 9th January.

Standard:

Previous caving experience is preferred but not required if you're interested and haven't been caving before, or haven't done much or are unsure if you meet the listed intermediate standard listed please talk to me and I'll run something like a daytrip to Labertouche beforehand.

Costs & Other Details

Accomodation: Camping only facilities are Pit Toilets (BYO paper)

Gear Hire: $10/day unless providing own (suitable) headlamp then $5/day

Costs Car/Petrol estimate $80-$100
