Parks Victoria and Bushwalking Victoria are running the Annual Willow Hunt on the Bogong High Plains over Australia Day long weekend (Jan 25-27). Volunteers will help with willow sapling removal and other activities, all while enjoying the scenery and atmosphere of the Alpine Area.

Volunteers will be accommodated at the Viking Lodge in Falls Creek (most places already filled). This year there will be an additional base camp on Mt Bogong - perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like MUMCers. :-)

To reserve a spot (they're going quickly), please email Charlie from BW: conservation AT bushwalkingvictoria DOT org DOT au.
Please copy in conservation AT mumc DOT org DOT au as well.
