Hi there, if you want a day walk to work off the excesses of the holidays, come along. No trip meeting because the clubrooms are likely closed and it's also an easy walk.
Meeting at Clubrooms 9am, we will drive to the Cathedral Ranges (2 hrs away) and park. We're taking the loop, starting by following the river towards Cooks Mill, scramble up a steep valley along Jawbone Creek track, take in the views at North Jawbone Peak, follow the sharp ridge towards Neds Saddle, and continue along the Cathedral Circuit track before a crumbly descent back to the car park. It should take about 6-7 hours and we'll be back in Melbourne by dinner time. There are 4 spots in my (small) car, so unless we get another driver, signups are limited to 4 spots. Cheers.
