Requirements: You will need camping equipment including tent and sleeping bag/mat (we will camp Friday and Saturday night), comfortable shoes for walking/scrambling, food for 2 days, money for petrol/car maintenance and camping fees.
Sorry folks I can confirm that this trip will definitely not be able to go ahead on this date. When we have info on when the area is likely to reopen I will update again... Combined bushwalking and rock climbing trip sampling the best the Grampians has to offer in each sport. One day we'll go climbing (suitable for all abilites - novice numbers limited by leader numbers) on some of the best compact sandstone around. The other day we'll head off on the Mount Stapylton/Hollow Mountain Circuit walk, described by Glenn Tempest as "the most exciting short daywalk in Victoria" - it involves lots of exposed scrambling and awesome views. This is a perfect trip for all climbers and bushwalkers and members new to both.
