Leaders: Mitchell S
Standard: Intermediate
Meeting: Tue, 7 Jan 2014, 6:48 pm

Requirements: Must be able to roll (and swim)

Before I head off to NZ for 6 weeks of kayaking, I am heading up to the lower Mitta again to work on skills with Jonathon Cawood.

In creek boats:
- live rolls
- entering and exiting the current
- ferry gliding
- surfing in holes (if any are forming)

In playboats:
-surfing, edging and looping

General:
Rescue, including live bait, z-drags and throwbagging.

If you would like to come along and learn these skills or revise with us, the more the merrier.
HOWEVER, you must have a decent roll.

This is all dependent upon the forecast released on Monday the 6th at http://www.mdba.gov.au/river-data/current-information-forecasts/storage-volumes for Dartmouth Dam continuing to have flows of greater that 4000 ML/day for Friday and Saturday.

At this stage we will be leaving Thursday afternoon and returning Saturday night or Sunday morning.
