Requirements: Daypack with lunch, snacks, fruits and 2-3 litres of water. Sturdy walking shoes and light walking clothes (avoid jeans if possible). Also bring warm/wet weather gear in case of rain.

This is the last of five daywalks on the first Saturday of February, March, April, May and June.  The pace is geared towards moderate fitness levels and will be fairly relaxed. Advanced, highly fit walkers may find the pace a bit leisurely but if that's what you are after please join us!

The daytrip to the beautiful Catheral Ranges, some of the best walking within a few hours of Melbourne. This walk is more challenging that the other walks with quite a bit of rock scrambling but should be doable for people of a reasonable fitness level. If you are concerned let us know.

It's a pretty long drive for a day trip so if people want to camp there on Friday or Saturday night that is certainly an option, you will just need to coordinate with us and the main group. Just let us know what you are looking to do.

* 5.0 hrs
* 9km circuit

* Moderate - Difficult Difficulty

The plans are to leave Melbourne at 8:30am and arrive back by 8pm at the latest. Full details will be decided at the trip meeting. As mentioned it's a pretty long drive for a day trip so if people want to camp there on Friday or Saturday night that is certainly an option, you will just need to coordinate with us and the main group. Just let us know what you are looking to do.

The north circuit was amazing so we are really looking forward to this one as well!
