MUMC Hut Maintenance and Egg Memorial Plaque installation trip

Requirements: Willing to help out with maintenance tasks. May need to carry a tent and camp near the hut.

Hi All,

Tim and I will be heading up to the MUMC hut this Labour day for some hut maintenance. We will also be putting up Egg's plaque at the hut so if any older member are up for a walk it would be good to catch up with those we haven't seen for a bit. The plan will be to head up Friday night and stay at Diamantina Hut.

Saturday we will walk in either across the Razorback or other routes if people are keen. Saturday afternoon, Sunday and Monday will be spent fixing up the hut and chilling about. On Saturday we will install Egg's plaque and have ceremony to remember him. There will probably be uni students leaving on Sunday for those who need to be back in Melbourne for class on Monday.

This trip will be suitable for new members of the club. You will need to be able to carry a full pack into the hut.
