An overnight kayak journey down, a perfect intro for those that have never spent a night out on the river.

Intermediate Paddling on the Thomson River, aimed towards advanced beginners looking to step up, and intermediate paddlers. For example the beginners who participated on both days of the Goulburn weekend paddling that was just completed would be able to kayak on this trip.

There may be space on a raft for those who do not know how to roll or who do not have much experience in a kayak. All spaces will depend on how many leaders and cars we have access to.

There is a small release scheduled for the weekend which will bring the level up to the low end of the paddleable scale. It will be a really good chance for people who are building up their experience in kayak.

There is a few grade 2-3 rapids, and lots of flat in between.

We will complete this as an overnight river journey, so people will need to pack very light to fit gear into kayaks.
