BEGINNER ROCK CLIMBING day trip to Camels Hump

Requirements: GOOD POSITIVE ENERGY AND SMILES.

A beginners rock climbing trip will be running on Saturday the 15th of March. The trip is for people how have never climbed or have limited experience. The trip will teach people the basics of rock climbing, eg. knots and belaying techniques, basic rope skills, and give the experience of climbing outside. 

Trip will be to Camels Hump which is a small climbing area an hour from Melbourne near Mt Macedon. Car pooling will be organised at the Tuesday Meeting. The number of beginners will be limited to 9. 

We will meet on Saturday morning at the clubrooms at 8am, and return back to the climb rooms hopefully be 7pm. There is also the possibility to have a beers and a BBQ back at the club rooms after the trip depending on interest.

All necessary equipment can be hired from the climb, or you can use your own gear if you have it.

Estimated costs: Shoes, harness, beyal devise, ropes, and helmet hire $10

Car Petrol: $5-$10
