Caught on Camera - Wildlife Monitoring in Wombat State Forest

Help the Victorian National Parks Association with the ongoing wildlife monitoring project in Wombat State Forest. The aim is to learn more about the impact of fire on mammals such as possums, kangaroos, phascogales, antechinus (aka "the pouched mice").

During this trip, we will be helping to move motion-sensing cameras to a new location in the forest, and learning about the animals.

The next monitoring activity in Wombat Forest will be on Saturday, June 7 (all day).

To register, email Christine at VNPA  -  and tell her you're from MUMC. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO REGISTER EARLY - THINK TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE!

I can't stress this enough - I have had many last minute queries about joining this activity, and people have been missing out. This is not a MUMC event and places are limited. We need to do what the organisers are requesting: early registration, particularly if you need transport.

Full details will be provided upon registration, and there will be options for arranging car pooling for those without transport. Places are limited, so get in early!

There will be opportunities to join this activity on the following Saturdays:
June 28
