Requirements: NO TRIP MEETING Email Christine at VNPA - to register. Full details upon registration, we'll try to organise car pooling. REGISTER EARLY!

Hi all,
This is the last opportunity this year to participate in the  wildlife monitoring "Caught on Camera" program which the Victorian National Parks Association is coordinating in Wombat State forest.

The project aims to learn more about the impact of fire on mammals such as possums, kangaroos, phascogales, antechinus (aka "the pouched mice").
During this trip, we will be helping to move motion-sensing cameras to a new location in the forest, and learning about the animals.
Have a look at this photo album to see how the project operates:

The last monitoring activity for the year Saturday, June 28 (all day).

To register, email Christine at VNPA  -  and tell her you're from MUMC. Do this asap! :)

As usual, it is really important to register early.  I have had many last minute queries about joining this activity, and people have been missing out. This is not a MUMC event and places are limited. We need to do what the organisers are requesting: early registration, particularly if you need transport.

Full details will be provided upon registration, and there will be options for arranging car pooling for those without transport.

Please email me with any questions: conservation AT mumc DOT org DOT au
