Dear OXOs,

National Tree Day is on July 27.
You're invited to participate in the following event organised by the City of Yarra:

Tree planting in Hardy Gallagher Reserve, which is located along the Capital City Trail in Princes Hill (nearest streets are Park St and Lang St).
Saturday, July 27 from 10 am to 11:30 am

Please wear sturdy boots and clothes to get dirty in, plus ensure you have a water bottle and sun protection.

This project seeks to fill in all the gaps from previous planting and landscaping work in the area and improve habitat values, and volunteers will be planting native plants.

It will be a fun day - spare a couple of hours! :)

To register, please fill in the form at the bottom of the linked page:

Want to head further afield? Find your own volunteering opportunity! Many communities and organisations are dedicating this day to do something positive for the environment.
You can search the official site to find local events: http://treeday.planetark.org/

Feel free to email me with ideas or questions. :)

cheers,
Krissie
