Requirements: See description. Pretty demanding, but at the end of the day, you're still (mostly) walking on trails.

At the moment, it is only Jack and I. I am busy this weekend, wanting to leave soon after (maybe on Wed 25th?)

Plan:

Drive to Native Dog Flat. Walk for 3-4 days in a loop that covers Mt Pilot, the 2 Cobberas peaks (or 5 depending on semantics), some caves of some variety that I know nothing about, and possibly a useless side trip in the name of geocaching which could be done as a trail run.

Other things to know:

Above average level of fitness required. Experience with overnight hiking necessary. Lightweight packing, so excluding food and water, we should be aiming for under 10kg each. It might snow, take an extra pair of socks than usual and plastic bags to protect against potentially slushy snow and puddles.
