Weather- (snow-) dependent.
This is an overnight ski trek, camping in tents in the snow (preferably near huts, but maybe not). Location: Mt Hotham / Bogong / Falls Creek / Howitt Planes, etc. TBA. May find some slopes for downhill fun, so you may prefer telemark skis. At this place, thanks to Richard & Liv who introduced us to Telemark last weekend! You need to be comfortable on touring skis. Skis, boots, tents, etc. can be hired from the Club.
We drive up Thursday evening or Friday early morning. Depending on location, the tour can be shortened to 2 days. Return Sunday evening.
