As advertised previously, volunteers from the Victorian National Parks Association are be undertaking native species monitoring in Bunyip State Park this spring. It's a great way to learn about some native animals - and what they get up to at night! and how they're affected by fire - and to gain some unique skills :)

This monitoring day will take place on Saturday, September 13.
We'll visit Bunyip State Park and help move the monitoring equipment to a new location.

To register, email Christine at VNPA  -  and tell her you're from MUMC. Do this early! :)
Numbers are limited, and the organisers need advance notice to organise. Contrary to the usual MUMC way of doing things, I won't be able to help with anything on the Tuesday before. :)
Full details will be provided upon registration, and there will be options for arranging car pooling for those without transport. If you have a car and can take a few passengers, let us know - it will certainly make things easier.

Please email me with any questions: conservation AT mumc DOT org DOT au. Future monitoring dates: Saturdays  -- October 4, October 25, November 15.
