Sunday Daywalk - Yarra River - Warrandyte - 15km [closed]

Transport plans have been made and sign-ups are closed.

Van Group: If you are in the people-mover van group, we are meeting at the MUMC club rooms at 10am on Sunday.

The cost of the van is $110 divided by 8 (or by the number of people who actually show up on the day). So please bring $15/$20 in change on the day.

Alex Group: If you are in Alex's car, you are meeting at Eltham Train Station at the time you arranged.

To everybody who is not in the two groups above, we do not have a 3rd driver, sorry.

 Original Details 

A short, social day-walk, 15km return along the Yarra River in Warrandyte.

"Winding river walk from Stiggants Reserve to Warrandyte State Park with abundant native animal life."

"The teeming ecology of kangaroos, wallabies, creeper orchids and silver wattles makes it a favourite stomping ground for bush walkers."

We will stop at "The Bakery" to buy lunch shortly after the start of the walk.

We will organise car groups at the Tuesday trip meeting and drivers will be reimbursed for petrol and distance based on the MUMC club rates.

The location of the walk (Warrandyte) is about 30km or 1 hour drive from Melbourne.
