Hi all,

A few of us participated in the first Great Otway Tree Plant a few weeks ago - great fun. :) The planting season continues and the Conservation Ecology Centre still needs help - lots of seedlings need to be planted - so if you find yourself in the Otways in the coming weeks, get in touch with them! There are weekend and weekday opportunities.

Email to organise, or you can try to reach them by phone on 5237 9297.

What do you need for tree planting?
Drinking water & packed lunch hat, sunscreen, boots suitable for working in the bush, waterproof clothing (or at least a jacket), and enthusiasm.

For weekend stays, you an arrange accommodation at Bimbi Park - camping sites and cabins. http://www.bimbipark.com.au/

Also, want to see cool photos of Tiger Quolls and other wildlife? Here:

Please note:
I won't be organising a club trip as I'm away in August - just letting YOU know about this opportunity to visit/do useful stuff in the Otways. Initiative, initiative... ;)
