Climbing trip to check out some of the lesser known crags close to Melbourne in the direction of the Hume Fwy.

The plan is to drive up Friday night and stay up overnight Saturday in a house (owned by my family) near Tallarook, which is a bit under an hour and half away from Melbourne. This should then give us a full two days of climbing with a minimum of driving - and with no camping out in the cold and the wet...

In particular the plan is to check out climbing at Tallarook also known as Warragul Rocks:

And then on the second day Mt Tenerife, which is a further hour down the road past Seymour towards Euroa

Trip is open to anyone who can lead belay (pending the number of leaders). There isn't a huge amount of top roping there so that won't really be an option. Even if you don't climb feel free to come along and hang out in the bush and have a few drinks on Saturday night back at the house.

Any questions come find me at the clubrooms Tuesday or send me an email or message.
