Distance from Melbourne: ~1.5 hours drive.
Walking distance: ~15km
Toolangi State Forest is a good option with a good network of tracks to choose from, nice dense rainforest, huge ferns and towering Mountain Ash trees.

Please remember that the trip meeting is the Tuesday before and is COMPULSORY if you want to come on the trip.
Trip cost to cover the car running costs will probably be $15-$20.
