This will be suitable for paddlers who have done a few trips on the Yarra and are wanting to improve their skills moving around on grade II whitewater.
What I want to work on up there:
- Ferry gliding and surfing on the main rapid
- Entering and exiting strong flow
- Different swimming techniques
- Throwbag rescues
Depending on peoples' levels, there should be plenty to play around with as long as everyone is really comfortable controlling the boat on the flat and has had at least a bit of experience on whitewater. Have a chat with me if you're not sure.
You MUST be at the meeting to come on this trip, unless you have already arranged something with me.
