Plant some trees on the beautiful Lurg Hills in Benalla (about two and half hours’ drive from Melbourne) and enjoy the fun, good food, and friendship as we provide habitat for threatened species, like the Regent Honeyeater, Grey-crowned Babbler, Squirrel Glider and Brush-tailed Phascogale.

Meals and accommodation provided:
- 3-course dinner on Saturday
- BBQ lunch on Sunday
- Sleeping on nice, firm mattresses in the Scout Hall (bring sleeping bags). Option to camp out.

Plan:
- Depart 7am on Saturday at the clubrooms.
- Join Ray Thomas and all the other volunteers at the planting site, plant through the day (till about 5pm), with breaks in between - during which Ray gives interesting talks about his work and local wildlife.
- Tuck into an extravagant 3-course dinner (Saturday) at the Community Hall, followed by a high-energy bush-dance (Absolutely do not miss this!)
- Plant more trees on Sunday (half day), followed by a yummy BBQ lunch. Option to join a short guided walk through some of the planting sites before heading home.

You'll need:
- Lunch for Saturday & breakfast for Sunday (or go to the local bakery)
- Sleeping bags and/or camping gear
- Clothes to get dirty in (and to change into), sturdy shoes, rain jacket, sunscreen, hat and gardening gloves
- Lots of loving for the seedlings
