UPDATES: Couple of places left for the dates 4 to 11 January 2015 (This is a static sector, which means you will be assigned to the same site throughout) and last spot just filled for the first half of December 2014.

SPRATS (Sea Spurge Remote Area Teams) is a volunteer group dedicated to eradicating sea spurge and marram grass from the southwest and southern wilderness coastline of Tasmania.

The program usually runs for 10 to 24 days during January and February 2014 for bushwalkers of various fitness levels. There will be a lot of wilderness walking, and may get picked up by a helicopter to get to more remote places. You are usually required to commit for about 10 days.

Email me quick (by this week, 19 Oct) to secure your place: conservation <at> mumc <dot> org <dot au
