Distance: 26km

Feeling stressed from the rigors of the week? Want to burn off some excess flab? Enjoy wearing khaki clothing*? Come on this trip!

Meeting at the clubrooms at 8 am and driving 1h 10 minutes to Dromana, Mornington Peninsula. We will do a car shuffle (approx 30 minutes x 2) at start (Dromana) and finish (Cape Schank)

From Dromana on Port Phillip Bay via Bushrangers Bay to Cape Schanck - You’ll walk through a great variety of habitats as you cross the Peninsula, including steep gravel sections around Arthurs Seat and gently undulating tracks through Greens Bush, the largest remnant bushland on the Peninsula.

Be warned - this is 26km and we will be doing some of that "flab-burning" spoken of earlier. This is because we will aim to finish the walk by 4pm to make it to Red Hill Cheeses tastings (closes at 5pm) - so that we can put back on that flab we burnt off.

Say CHEESE!

Bring:
- comfortable walking shoes (runners will do if no hiking shoes)
- lunch
- minimum 1.5 litres water
- sun protection (hat, sunblock)
- rain gear (if needed)
*khaki clothing optional.
