There's an awesome waterfall and swimming hole just off the track near the Bogong high plains. When the weather's hot, I always imagine jumping into the pool up there. If the weather's looking good, I'd like to head back there this summer and maybe some other people would like to come too?

The plan:

Leave on Friday afternoon/evening, arrive at pretty valley pondage about 11pm. Walk in to the waterfall over the high plains, get there about 1am.

Saturday, sleep in. Go for a walk check out downstream, go exploring, wait for the sun to get into the waterfall. Go swimming/jumping in the waterfall in the afternoon.

Sunday, walk out a different way, drive home.

The alpine grass is great to sleep on. We saw some brumbies last time I was there.
