Requirements: Bushwalking experience, a day walk with MUMC prefered. Full overnight, warm and waterproof hiking gear (can be hired from MUMC)

Beginner level overninght bushwalk to the Victorian Alps. Probably Victoria's highest mountain Mt Bogong. Participants will need to have at least been on a day walk with the club beforehand and a moderate level of fitness.

Numbers will be dependant on the number of cars we can organise as well as trip leaders but we should be able to have up to 20 participants.

Rough Itinery:

Camp Mountain Creek Friday night. Walk up the Staircase on Saturday to Cleve Cole Hut. Descend Eskdale Spur on Sunday and return to Melbourne. If weather is particularly bad we can do the walk to Michell hut or go to a more protected area.

If any newer members are thinking of getting more involved with the club and want to have a go at leading this trip come talk with me. There will be plenty of experience on the actual trip and in the organising for newer leaders to call on if needed.
