Requirements: Have attended two club trips.

This trip has been on my mind for time, perhaps similar to an intro trip but for those who have stuck around and made it past the O'Week rush. While not too late in Autumn it would be nice to run a social trip involving several of the club's activities and those whose interest may have become fixed on one sport.

With sunsets, and sunrises the weekend is open to your ideas and what you would like to do. It can be as adventurous or as relaxed as you like, it's nice to be out of Melbourne.

The following is an idea...

Arriving on the Friday night, Saturday would begin with a day of climbing, both top roping and also an opportunity for a chance of seconding some of the climbing leaders on the granite Mt Buffalo is renowned for.

Later in the day, for those who have five head torches* they may like to explore the underground river to touch on the caving experience. Otherwise if the weather permits, a swim in the lake may be more to ones tastes or even some rolling practice if the kayaks are brought along.

*reference is to several comments made by one member who perhaps would rather remain nameless from an earlier Mt buffalo trip. One, perhaps two head torches would be sufficient and I don't think PLB's work underground?

For Sunday while some may prefer another day of climbing, there's some great bush walking to be done in the area. For the more adventurous there's even one starting of with a 150m abseil. What I would love to do is walk out via the gorge, boulder hoping along the creek which flows from it down to road where the first of the windy bends begin. The climbers and alike can then pick us up at the end of the day on the drive home.
